Serving
your water needs for more than 50 years
Leonard B. Keener founded
Toledo Soft Water Supply, Inc. in 1947 to offer portable water softening
exchange service to people in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
During the late '50's, we
initiated an automatic softener rental service in addition to the portable
exchange service. During the early '60's, we began selling and renting
water conditioning equipment. We also began selling salt, both for water
softening and for ice melting.
We have always endeavored
to provide the highest quality equipment and products, and the best possible
service. From our beginning in 1947 to the early 1970's, we were franchised
as a Servisoft dealer. In
order
to maintain our goal of superior quality, we became an independent
dealer, and dropped the Servisoft line.
In 1982, we purchased the Latz Company and incorporated their rental softeners with our system. To
reflect our growing product line, we changed our name to Toledo Water
Conditioning. In 1983, we purchased the Lorenzen Company and
incorporated
their rental softeners.
The early 1990’s saw our
entry into bottled water coolers and self-serve purified water. In
January 1997, we started delivering water to homes and businesses.
John Keener has been president of Toledo Water
Conditioning since 1980. He is a Certified Water Specialist category VI, the

John continues the fine standards set by his
father, and stays ahead of current trends by regularly attending continuing
education and conventions. He is past president of the Ohio Water
Quality Association.
His wife,
Mary, is also an integral part of the TWC tradition, providing customer
service and financial management.
